We hold these truths to be self-evident,
that all men are created equal,
that they are endowed by their Creator
with certain unalienable Rights,
that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness,
that to secure these rights
Governments are instituted among Men,
deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed....
Today is the day to ask ourselves if we really believe this
and act on it. Do we vote? Do we use our freedom for the
common good?
